Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator is an executional and operational role responsible for bringing Ivy Hall's marketing strategies to life across digital channels and in-store experiences. Working in close partnership with the Marketing Manager, this role owns the day-to-day execution of campaigns, content publishing, customer communications, and promotional coordination — ensuring consistent, on-brand delivery across all touchpoints.

This role executes campaigns and marketing initiatives, manages calendars, communications, and reporting, and supports campaign implementation across channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Campaign Execution & Communications
    • Execute day-to-day customer communications across digital channels
    • Deploy email marketing campaigns and app communications in alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives set by the Marketing Manager
    • Own and manage the weekly promotional calendar, coordinating promotions, product drops, store announcements, and campaign launches across loyalty channels
    • Coordinate campaign scheduling, messaging, and asset delivery across loyalty and digital platforms
    • Partner with the graphic designer to develop and deliver marketing assets that are on-brand, clear, and compelling
  • Social Media Coordination
    • Monitor social media trends, cultural moments, and platform best practices, surfacing relevant opportunities to the Marketing Manager
    • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and conversations in line with brand voice and customer experience standards
    • Coordinate user-generated content (UGC) and influencer collaboration logistics as directed
  • Retail Marketing & Event Support
    • Coordinate with the Events Team on upcoming events supporting Ivy Hall retail locations, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
    • Support execution of retail promotions, marketing activations, and local store marketing efforts
    • Assist in coordinating marketing materials and assets for in-store experiences and community initiatives
  • Reporting & Marketing Operations
    • Track and compile engagement metrics and campaign performance data for Marketing Manager review
    • Provide performance insights and reporting that inform strategy and optimization decisions
    • Maintain organized marketing assets, campaign documentation, and promotional calendars to support team efficiency
    • Support the Marketing Manager and broader team with campaign coordination, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fields
    • 2+ years of brand ambassadorship, Public Relations (PR), marketing, events, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
    • Proficient in social media platforms
    • Cannabis industry or wellness-related experience preferred
  • Technical Skills
    • Familiarity with Office365, Monday.com, and Google tools preferred
    • Comfortable with social media platforms and customer engagement software
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
  • Additional Requirements
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently to events and store locations
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and when events arise
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs during event setup and remain on feet for extended periods
Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, and position objects, tools, or controls.

  • Hearing: Normal audio range, with or without correction.
  • Vision: Close observation and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs during event setup and remain on feet for extended periods
Work is performed both remotely and in a retail environment. The noise level is usually moderate. These characteristics represent those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this role. This role may require you to work outside a traditional 9-5 schedule.
