Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Trade Marketing (Ethnic) is responsible for driving trade marketing, pricing strategy, promotional planning, sales operations, and commercial execution across ethnic and multicultural market segments. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales Strategy teams to improve commercial execution, operational efficiency, and sales effectiveness.
This position requires strong commercial acumen, trade marketing expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to optimize pricing, promotional investments, and commercial execution across sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Marketing & Commercial Execution
Develop and execute trade marketing strategies across key sales channels.
Manage annual promotion calendars and customer activation programs.
Support new product commercialization and retail execution.
Improve merchandising effectiveness and in-store execution.
Pricing & Promotion Management
Develop and manage pricing strategies across customers and channels.
Manage promotional pricing, trade investments, and pricing governance.
Evaluate promotion effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
Support pricing policy development and implementation.
Identify pricing opportunities that improve profitability and competitiveness.
Commercial Programs & Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales Strategy on commercial initiatives.
Lead cross-functional projects that improve commercial execution.
Coordinate operational readiness for promotions and product launches.
Support continuous improvement of sales operations and commercial processes.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, coach, and develop members of the Sales Operations Part.
Establish team priorities, performance expectations, and accountability.
Strengthen team capabilities in trade marketing, pricing, sales operations, and commercial execution.
Requirements:
BA degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Trade Marketing, Pricing, Category Management, or related functions.
Experience within consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food and beverage or multicultural/ethnic market channels strongly preferred.
Experience managing trade investments, pricing programs, and commercial execution.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
The base salary for this position is between $125,000.00 and $145,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
