Working collaboratively with school administrators, special education teams, therapists, students, and families, Coordinators ensure that physical therapy services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with educational and professional standards.

In addition to maintaining a clinical caseload, our Coordinators provide mentorship, oversight, and support to therapy staff while partnering with leadership to enhance service delivery across assigned school districts. We recognize the important role our Coordinators play in promoting student success, developing high-performing teams, and advancing clinical excellence throughout our School Services program.

  • Participating in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and other school-based conferences as appropriate.
  • Training, supervising, and consulting with school personnel regarding therapeutic strategies, adaptive equipment, and implementation of student therapy programs.
  • Completing accurate, timely clinical documentation, scheduling, billing, referral tracking, and required district and departmental reporting.
  • Coordinating physical therapy services across assigned school districts to ensure efficient scheduling, appropriate staffing, and timely completion of evaluations and referrals.
  • Serving as a clinical resource and mentor for Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and entry-level staff while promoting evidence-based school-based practice.
  • Collaborating with leadership on staff performance evaluations, coaching, professional development, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Monitoring documentation, productivity, and service quality to ensure compliance with organizational, district, state, and regulatory requirements.
