About Quest International

Quest International provides field service, technical support, preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and lifecycle services for medical-device manufacturers and other technical-equipment organizations.

As a Field Service Technician, you will represent Quest at hospitals, laboratories, industrial facilities, manufacturing locations, and other customer sites throughout Oklahoma and assigned surrounding territories.

You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical equipment while providing dependable customer support and accurate technical documentation.

What You’ll Do
  • Travel to customer locations to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair technical equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on medical, diagnostic, laboratory, industrial, manufacturing, OEM, and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment problems using a digital multimeter, hand tools, power tools, and approved diagnostic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to the field-replaceable unit, module, board, part, component, cable, connector, power-supply, sensor, motor, wiring-harness, or assembly level.
  • Repair or replace circuit boards, power supplies, wiring, connectors, harnesses, sensors, motors, modules, electronic components, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, service procedures, standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and customer-site protocols.
  • Verify equipment operation after maintenance or repair.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues with clear troubleshooting notes and supporting information.
  • Complete accurate service reports documenting the reported problem, troubleshooting performed, parts used, test results, work completed, and recommended next steps.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, technical support, service leadership, and internal Quest teams.
  • Manage customer appointments, travel schedules, tools, service materials, documentation, and changing field assignments independently.
  • Use Windows-based systems to access manuals, review diagnostic information, manage service files, and support equipment troubleshooting.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least one year of professional hands-on experience in field service, electro-mechanical repair, medical equipment service, industrial maintenance, electronics repair, appliance repair, automotive diagnostics, installation, or another closely related technical role.
  • Professional experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical or electronic equipment.
  • Experience diagnosing failures to the FRU, module, board, part, component, or assembly level.
  • Professional experience using a digital multimeter.
  • Experience working with wiring, connectors, harnesses, circuit boards, sensitive electronic components, equipment modules, sensors, motors, power supplies, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to read and follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, service procedures, SOPs, and safety instructions.
  • Strong service-documentation and customer-communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently at customer locations.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable personal vehicle available for work-related travel.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required automobile-insurance coverage.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel, early departures, late returns, and changing customer schedules.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 pounds and completing hands-on field work.
  • Compensation expectations within the approved $24.00–$29.00 hourly range.
  • Willingness to complete the required Human Performance Test.
Required Windows and Networking Skills

You must be comfortable using Windows-based systems while installing, maintaining, configuring, or troubleshooting technical equipment.
