Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the sales performance, service delivery, and operational effectiveness of a full-service branch. The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring operational integrity, leading branch staff, and delivering exceptional member service through ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback. This role also maintains productive relationships with members, employees, and Select Employee Group (SEG) companies, while representing the credit union in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficient service and operational integrity.
  • Supervise, hire, train, develop, evaluate, and schedule branch staff.
  • Lead and coach employees to deliver exceptional member service and achieve established sales and service goals.
  • Ensure the branch meets performance objectives while adhering to credit union policies, procedures, and member service standards.
  • Serve as the liaison between the branch and internal support departments.
  • Maintain compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls to safeguard members, staff, and credit union assets.
  • Open new accounts and ensure services are provided in accordance with credit union guidelines and procedures.
  • Originate, process, and close loans in compliance with applicable regulations and lending standards.
  • Identify fraudulent activity and take appropriate action to help prevent losses.
  • Represent the credit union professionally and promote its interests in all interactions with members, staff, and SEG companies.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in a financial institution.
  • 3+ years’ experience selling both in person and over the phone.
  • 5+ years of cash handling experience.
