Coordinator-Shift Essential Job Duties:

• Schedules Materials Specialists on shifts, collaborates with the other shift coordinator for shift overlap coverage.
• Conducts surveillance of the storerooms and PAR closets, evaluating cleanliness of the supplies, supply bins and facility.
• First point of contact for staff issues, and reports of supply availability or problems filling requests.
• Ensures the use of FIFO method.
• Leads scheduled cycle counts according to supply criticality, usage and cost.
• Oversee the transporting of supplies, equipment following safety protocols.
• Answers calls and requests by customers and fills requests.
• Assist with equipment finding, moving, cleaning as needed.
• Reports on issues with supply availability to the manager.
• Conducts physical inventory on a regular basis.
• Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates awareness of Supply Chain activities.

Education, Training & Experience

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Two years of supply chain experience required.
• Function grasp of standard written and verbal English.
• Accomplished at basic business math.
• Basic computer and computer keyboard experience.
• Flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the department.
• Experience in inventory methods preferred.
