This is a high-impact leadership opportunity focused on driving operational excellence across a national Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network.
You will build and lead a centralized support function spanning analytics, process engineering, and operations expertise.
The role serves as a critical link between corporate strategy, regional leadership, field execution, and external partners.
You will use operational data to identify performance gaps, establish benchmarks, and drive measurable improvements across markets.
Your work will influence construction, maintenance, repair, drop deployment, and in-home installation operations at scale.
You will also strengthen vendor accountability, improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and standardize best practices nationwide.

- Lead the national operations support function for OSP Construction, OSP Repair & Maintenance, Drops, and In-Home Installation & Repair, providing strategic guidance and operational support to regional teams.
- Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of data analysts, process engineers, and operations specialists while fostering a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with regional leaders to analyze operational performance, identify root causes of underperformance, and implement targeted improvement initiatives.
- Establish national performance baselines, KPIs, and target benchmarks covering construction velocity, repair SLAs, drop completion, installation quality, and other critical operational metrics.
- Transform operational data into actionable insights and continuously improve reporting, dashboards, and performance-management processes.
- Drive consistency and standardization across markets by aligning national operating strategies with local field execution.
- Use performance data to strengthen accountability among third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with SLAs, quality expectations, and operational standards.
- Manage and optimize complex vendor relationships, identifying opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Serve as a strategic bridge between corporate leadership and field organizations, translating business priorities into practical operational initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce operational costs, improve service quality, and scale best practices across the network.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; a degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred, with a Master’s or MBA considered an advantage.
- At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in telecommunications operations, particularly within FTTH, broadband, or cable environments.
- At least 7 years of direct program management experience leading complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with FTTH/GPON networks, deployments, and associated operational functions.
- At least 5 years of experience leading teams and managing external vendors or contractors directly.
- Strong understanding of OSP construction, OSP maintenance, drop burial and aerial deployment, and in-home installation and repair processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex operational metrics, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and data visualization tools.
- Proven experience managing large-scale outsourced vendor and contractor relationships, including performance scorecards, SLA management, and contract optimization.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn operational data into clear recommendations and measurable actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence regional leaders, field teams, vendors, and senior executives.
- A track record of building high-performing teams and creating collaborative, accountable, and continuous-improvement-oriented cultures.
- 10+ years of progressive telecom operations leadership experience is preferred.
- Competitive base salary of $160,000–$235,000 per year, depending on geographic location, skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors.
- Eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
