Multifamily Maintenance Assistant in Fort Worth, Texas at Tarantino Properties Inc

Estrella at Seminary Apartments is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Completepreventive-maintenance tasks and assigned work orders
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs
• Inspect units, buildings, grounds, and common areas
• Prepare vacant units for new residents
• Maintain tools, equipment, supply inventories, and maintenance records
• Assist with emergency repairs and promptly report major hazards
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and vendors
• Provide courteous service while respecting residents’ privacy
• Follow building codes, company policies, fair-housing practices, and workplace-safety requirements

• HVAC (EPA) certification preferred
• Pool certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems
