Job Description

Lead Technical Product Manager, Content and Tools

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager, Content and Tools based in United States.

This is a high-impact product leadership role focused on building and scaling a modern content engine within a growing healthcare education organization. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of platforms supporting content generation, accredited learning, publications, and clinical tools. The role combines technical product management, content architecture, AI-enabled workflows, and digital publishing. You’ll establish standards for content models, taxonomy, metadata, quality, and scalable operations. Working closely with engineering, digital, education, and executive stakeholders, you’ll turn complex requirements into durable products and systems. You’ll also have the opportunity to build a new content operations function from the ground up and introduce innovative content products. This position offers significant autonomy and a path toward broader product leadership as the organization expands into additional medical specialties.

Accountabilities
  • Own the content product strategy and roadmap across content generation, accredited learning, publications, and related digital capabilities, balancing priorities against engineering capacity and communicating tradeoffs to executive leadership.
  • Lead the development of a scalable content generation platform that transforms conferences, presentations, educational videos, and other source materials into high-quality derivative assets.
  • Establish content quality gates, clinical-accuracy standards, evaluation processes, and publishing requirements to ensure content meets defined standards before release.
  • Own the content model, taxonomy, metadata architecture, and shared content standards, ensuring they are consistently implemented across content sources and support personalization, search, recommendations, and reporting.
  • Lead the product experience for accredited learning, including activity structures, learning journeys, credit-claiming flows, and related publication and journal submission workflows.
  • Manage product capabilities for embedded clinical tools and sponsor-facing digital assets, including partner evaluation, integration requirements, and production standards.
  • Build and scale the content operations function by defining roles, processes, standards, resourcing strategies, and build-versus-hire plans.
  • Identify and develop new content products, formats, tools, and data capabilities that create value for healthcare professionals and commercial partners.
  • Partner closely with engineering, platform, education, and executive stakeholders to maintain a reliable shared content ecosystem and prevent unplanned changes to critical content standards.
  • Establish measurable accountability for content accuracy, metadata quality, operational scalability, product delivery, and expansion into additional specialty markets.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in technical product management, content platforms, digital publishing, or related fields, with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a content or learning platform; Principal-level candidates should typically bring 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to define product standards and drive their adoption across teams, with strong judgment around prioritization, governance, and execution.
  • Deep experience with content modeling, taxonomy, and metadata architecture, particularly within headless CMS environments; Storyblok experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on production experience with LLM-powered content generation, including evaluation strategies, quality controls, accuracy considerations, and cost-performance tradeoffs.
  • Experience owning learning management platforms, including activity architecture, learning paths, completion tracking, and credit reporting; Docebo experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in regulated, accredited, or editorially independent environments where governance and structural safeguards are essential; familiarity with ACCME standards is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to build functions or capabilities from the ground up, including defining organizational needs, evaluating build-versus-hire options, and scaling operations as demand increases.
  • Comfortable working in AI-assisted development environments such as Claude Code or equivalent tools and collaborating effectively within human-and-agent development workflows.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills, with the ability to translate complex opportunities into clear and executable plans.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, resilience, adaptability, and willingness to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Healthcare, medical education, life sciences, or digital health experience is preferred, particularly experience creating content capabilities that can scale across specialties or markets.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employer visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Eastern or Central U.S. time-zone availability is strongly preferred.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Opportunity to lead a strategically important product area with significant autonomy and executive visibility.
  • Meaningful work supporting healthcare professionals and contributing to improved patient outcomes.
  • Growth opportunities through coaching, stretch assignments, and expanded product leadership responsibilities.
  • Collaborative, values-driven environment emphasizing ownership, innovation, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible working environment with clear expectations around accountability, communication, and performance.
  • Opportunity to build a new content operations capability and shape scalable product practices from the ground up.
  • Exposure to AI-powered content generation, digital learning, medical education, and emerging healthcare technology.
