WHAT DOES A PARTS MANAGER DO?

The Parts Manager oversees all aspects of the Parts Department operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and a high standard of customer service. This position provides leadership to the team, manages inventory and department performance, and collaborates closely with other dealership departments to meet customer needs and support overall dealership success.

    Lead, coach, and develop Parts Department employees through effective recruitment, training, performance management, and ongoing development initiativesMaintain a thorough understanding of Mazergroup Parts Department policies, procedures, and manufacturer requirementsEnsure compliance with CNH parts program requirements, including inventory management, training standards, stocking breadth, AMAX parameters, and brand standardsDrive parts sales growth through proactive business development, merchandising, marketing initiatives, and monthly sales planningCollaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and Service Manager to ensure a cohesive dealership management teamSupport and promote all company health, safety, and compliance initiatives.And so much more!

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO US?

    5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a parts, agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, retail, wholesale, or dealership environment.Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and manage employee performance while fostering a positive and accountable team culture.Experience managing inventory, purchasing, and departmental operations, with a strong understanding of inventory control and profitability.Journeyperson Parts Technician certification, or equivalent parts-related trade qualification, is considered a strong asset.Post-secondary education in business, agriculture, supply chain, or a related field is considered an asset.Strong business acumen, including a working knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and departmental performance metrics.Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to building strong customer relationships and supporting sales growth.Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees, customers, and business partners.Proficiency with inventory management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other business software.Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesThe ability to travel occasionally (2 to 3 times per year) for company and vendor training opportunities.Valid driver’s license is required
