Estimator in Pine Brook, New Jersey at METRO EXHIBITS LLC

The Trade Show Project Estimator coordinates accurate, complete, and competitive estimates for custom and rental trade show exhibits. The role reviews project information, works across internal departments and outside vendors, and ensures each proposal is complete, buildable, accurate, delivered on time, and aligned with Metro Exhibits’ margin expectations

Project Review

• Review client renderings, floor plans, specifications, show information, and supporting documentation.
• Identify missing information, scope gaps, design conflicts, production risks, and potential cost concerns.
• Estimating

Coordinate estimates for custom and rental exhibits, graphics, flooring, furniture, lighting, audiovisual, freight, warehouse services, installation and dismantle labor, and show-site services.

• Complete estimates, revisions, and change-order pricing within established turnaround times.

Collaboration

• Work with Business Development and Project Management to clarify project requirements, assumptions, exclusions, and responsibilities.
• Partner with Design, Production, Graphics, Warehouse Operations, Purchasing, and
• Project Management to confirm estimates are complete, practical, and achievable.
• Request and review vendor and subcontractor pricing, lead times, and project requirements.

Documentation & Improvement

• Maintain estimates, vendor quotes, assumptions, and supporting documentation in the company’s ERP and estimating systems.
• Participate in completed project reviews to improve future estimating accuracy.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
