Who We AreNELBUD provides essential commercial fire protection and kitchen exhaust services, including:
Kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, technical services, and repair
Fire protection and suppression systems
Grease trap cleaning and line jetting
As a Kitchen Exhaust/Hood Cleaning Technician, you will work as part of a team servicing commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
This is a physically demanding overnight position that may involve working in tight spaces, climbing ladders, accessing rooftops, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
Typical responsibilities include:
Cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, fans, ducts, and rooftop equipment
Removing grease buildup throughout kitchen exhaust systems
Cleaning rooftop exhaust fans and surrounding areas
Assisting with installation of accessories such as access panels, hinge kits, and grease containment systems
Operating pressure washing and cleaning equipment
Following NELBUD safety procedures and quality standards
Providing professional service while working at customer locations
This position works overnight hours with varying start times based on customer schedules. Shifts may begin anywhere from approximately 6:00 PM to midnight and continue until the assigned work is completed.
Candidates must be comfortable working a flexible overnight schedule.

Strong reliability, work ethic, and willingness to learn
Previous experience in a physically demanding position is preferred, but not required
To be considered for a position that requires driving a company vehicle, you must:
Hold a valid driver's license
Be at least 20 years old
Have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
Meet NELBUD's driver eligibility requirements
