Job Description
Wallstreet Sand Co. is seeking dependable and safety-focused Haul Truck Drivers to join our frac sand operations team in Kermit, Texas.
This position is responsible for safely operating haul trucks in a fast-paced industrial environment while supporting daily sand plant operations and material movement throughout the facility. We are looking for hardworking individuals who are comfortable working outdoors in demanding conditions and who understand the importance of reliability, safety, and teamwork in production operations.
Candidates with previous haul truck experience are strongly preferred. Experience in frac sand, mining, aggregate, agriculture, ranching, farming, construction, oilfield, or other outdoor industrial environments is a major plus.
This position works in the Permian Basin desert on a 14 on and 7 off rotation, and requires individuals who are comfortable working long hours in heat, dust, wind, noise, and changing weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate haul trucks throughout sand plant operations
- Transport sand and materials between designated areas safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Report mechanical issues, equipment damage, or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all site traffic patterns, operational procedures, and safety policies
- Maintain awareness of personnel, equipment, and operating conditions in active work areas
- Assist with housekeeping and general operational support as needed
- Work closely with plant operators, loader operators, and supervisors to maintain production flow
- Maintain clean equipment and support safe operating conditions throughout the facility
- Minimum of one year of haul truck operating experience required
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, dust, wind, and changing weather conditions
- Ability to work long shifts and overtime as needed
- Strong attendance and reliability required
- Ability to work safely in active industrial environments around heavy equipment and moving vehicles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous frac sand plant, mining, aggregate experience is a plus
- Agriculture, ranching, feedyard, or farming background will also be considered
- Experience operating heavy equipment in industrial environments
- Experience working around loaders, conveyors, stockpiles, hoppers, or active production areas
- MSHA training or willingness to obtain certification
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment knowledge
