Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Healthcare Project Architect for a full-time opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina. This senior-level position is designed for an experienced, licensed architect with a strong healthcare project background who can lead architectural design and documentation throughout the complete project lifecycle.

This role combines healthcare design expertise, client programming, technical leadership, construction administration, multidisciplinary coordination, and mentorship. You'll work directly with clients to understand functional and spatial needs while leading project teams and coordinating architectural and engineering solutions from initial planning through construction.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Healthcare Project Architect will lead high-impact healthcare projects requiring an understanding of medical facility programming and cross-disciplinary integration. You'll provide project leadership while working directly with clients, internal engineering teams, external consultants, contractors, and junior design staff.

COMPENSATION
• $120,000-$180,000

ROLE
• Lead Collaborative Project Teams And Provide Guidance To Support Successful Project Delivery
• Work Directly With Clients To Determine Functional And Spatial Needs, Equipment Requirements, Materials, Anticipated Costs, And Construction Timelines
• Lead Architectural Design And Documentation Throughout The Project Lifecycle
• Create Scale Drawings And Comprehensive Construction Contracts
• Develop Project Layouts And Integrated Engineering Solutions For Client Approval
• Review And Manage Drawings And Specifications Produced By Junior Designers
• Establish And Monitor Discipline-Specific Programs To Support Technical Accuracy
• Oversee Construction Contracts On-Site To Confirm Compliance With Plans And Design Intent
• Coordinate With Internal Engineering Teams And External Consultants
• Maintain Project Momentum Through Detailed Meeting Minutes And Team Updates
• Mentor Junior Staff And Provide Feedback To Support Professional Development

Requirements
• Minimum 10 Years Of A/E Industry Experience REQUIRED
• Minimum 6 Years As A Licensed Professional REQUIRED
• Healthcare Project Experience REQUIRED
• State Architectural License REQUIRED
• NCARB Certification REQUIRED
• Five-Year Bachelor's Degree In Architecture REQUIRED
• High Proficiency In Revit REQUIRED
• High Proficiency In AutoCAD REQUIRED
• High Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite REQUIRED
• U.S. Citizenship REQUIRED
• Ability To Travel Up To 20% Depending On Project Needs REQUIRED

Preferred
• LEED AP Or Other Sustainability-Related Credentials Preferred
• Strong Communication Skills For Working With Clients, Contractors, And Multidisciplinary Stakeholders Preferred
