Job Description

Description:

Ready to Bmore? If you’re the tech other techs turn to when things get complicated — and you’re just as comfortable explaining the fix to a client as finding it — we’d love to meet you. Bmore Technology is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our service team in White Marsh as our Level 2 escalation point: the person who takes on the complex problems, keeps client networks healthy, and helps our Level 1 team grow.

Who We Are

Founded in 2004, Bmore Technology is a managed IT services provider supporting businesses across the Baltimore region and the Myrtle Beach and Charleston areas of South Carolina. Our mission is simple: help businesses be more, with technology that solves problems and makes an impact. We’ve built our culture on learning, ambition, vision, and integrity — we invest in each other, and we’re invested in our clients.

We want the best of the best — people who come here to learn, grow, and expand their careers. And if that growth one day leads you to something even better for you and your family, we’ll be the first to cheer you on.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the escalations — take on the complex technical problems our Level 1 team hands up, and see them through to resolution
  • Talk directly with clients — explain what’s happening in plain language and work toward solutions together
  • Keep client networks healthy — maintain network design and integrity, spot technical risks early, and drive down reactive tickets
  • Shape how we work — help build our Standards Library and contribute to incident-management best practices
  • Coordinate complex projects and mentor teammates along the way
  • Share the on-call rotation for after-hours support

Pay & Benefits

  • Salary of $55,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience, degree(s), and certifications
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees, plus telemedicine access and a Health Savings Account option
  • Work-from-home flexibility based on your needs and the on-call schedule — home base is our White Marsh office
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Quarterly bonuses based on company profitability, plus additional end-of-year bonus opportunities
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
Requirements:
  • Previous MSP or IT consulting experience — you’ll support many different clients with very different environments, and thriving in that variety is a skill of its own
  • 2–3 years of hands-on IT experience with multiple technical certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, networking, or security)
  • Genuine comfort talking with clients — you can walk a non-technical person through a technical problem and make them feel taken care of
  • Advanced troubleshooting instincts — you’re the person others hand the hard tickets to
  • A bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred — strong experience and certifications matter most
  • Organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation
