JOB SUMMARY:

Assumes shift accountability for management of assigned units within the framework of a decentralized system; interpreting departmental and hospital objectives, policies and procedures into effective action, coordinating, maintaining, and monitoring the standards of care and practice, providing input for development and evaluation of staff.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing with a BSN
• Current nursing registration in Massachusetts required
• BCLS and ACLS required

Preferred:

• Demonstrated clinical competence in the specialty area of nursing practice preferred
