This role sits at the heart of constituent engagement, ensuring that every supporter interaction is handled with care, accuracy, and responsiveness. You will serve as a key point of contact for inquiries related to donations, receipts, and support services, helping create a seamless and positive experience across multiple communication channels. The position blends customer service, administrative precision, and mission-driven communication in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with internal teams to resolve requests efficiently and ensure service standards are consistently met. Every interaction contributes to strengthening trust and engagement with supporters. - Manage inbound constituent support requests across phone, email, and service desk channels, ensuring timely responses aligned with service level agreements and escalating complex issues when needed.
- Process and maintain accurate records for credit card donations, invoice payments, monthly giving updates, and tax acknowledgment letters or receipts.
- Update constituent communication preferences within CRM systems and support digital engagement platforms, including DIY campaign tools and online catalog inquiries.
- Respond to specialized requests such as tributes, memorials, financial aid inquiries, archived/polio-era information, and general donor support resources.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounts receivable, marketing, and IT/help desk teams to ensure smooth resolution of constituent needs.
- Communicate mission-focused information clearly and accurately, providing thoughtful responses to frequently asked questions and supporter concerns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and supporting enhancements to the constituent experience.
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, donor support, or administrative support roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to deliver timely resolutions under pressure.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team setting.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 tools and CRM or similar data management systems.
