This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Founder’s Office based in Australia.
In this role, you will act as a key operational leader supporting the executive function of a fast-scaling AI company. You will be responsible for driving business operations across multiple markets, ensuring the organization can scale efficiently while maintaining speed, structure, and execution quality. This is a highly cross-functional position where you will oversee critical initiatives such as entity setup, payroll operations, vendor management, and recruiting support. You will work closely with leadership to translate strategy into execution across teams and geographies. The role requires strong ownership, adaptability, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving, high-performance environment. You will directly influence how the company expands globally and ensure operational foundations are built for long-term scalability and reliability.
- Lead and coordinate business operations across multiple countries, ensuring smooth execution of expansion and scaling initiatives.
- Oversee office setup, legal entity incorporation, and market entry operations in new regions.
- Manage payroll implementation, local compliance requirements, and operational infrastructure across geographies.
- Supervise and support a team of Business Operations Partners, ensuring alignment and execution excellence.
- Manage external vendors, service providers, and operational partners to ensure high-quality delivery and cost efficiency.
- Support recruiting operations, including onboarding of recruiters and coordination of hiring processes.
- Plan and execute company offsites, events, and internal operational logistics.
- Track key strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability, follow-through, and timely execution.
- Continuously improve internal processes to increase operational speed, clarity, and reliability.
- Act as a central coordination point across finance, legal, HR, and recruiting functions.
- Experience in business operations, strategic operations, founder’s office, chief of staff, or similar high-responsibility roles.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across different functions and geographies.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and execution discipline.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive initiatives from concept to completion.
- Experience working across recruiting, finance, legal, HR, and administrative functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with leadership teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of execution.
- Comfortable working in high-growth, high-intensity environments with strong performance expectations.
- Experience in scaling companies, startups, or international operations is highly desirable.
