Job Description
Serves as the central role to coordinator and facilitate operations management/operational excellence projects and activities in support of strategic goals for the department and system at large.
Manages projects and activities of current operations management/operational excellence initiatives. Assists with managing the scope of work, assignments, and key deliverables for projects. Prepares, manages, and tracks project timelines. Serves as a liaison/point of contact for the project team and department leadership. Manages the data collection and provides a summary of updates to the team.
Support all aspects of employee engagement within current initiatives. Serves as the project coordinator for any projects assigned by the department head/VP. Serves as the liaison responsible for tracking and monitoring of stakeholder engagement/participation in departmental activities. Coordinates support required for special events hosted by the department including, but not limited to, process mapping events, awards, celebrations, and other events.
Performs a variety of complex and highly confidential administrative duties to support the activities of departmental leaders. Attends meetings and trainings as required. Displays a fundamental understanding and awareness of, and performs all duties in accordance with, LifeBridge Health's organizational mission and vision statements. Takes meeting minutes as assigned and coordinates any required follow up with both internal and external stakeholders. Supports scheduling for meetings/events, project documentation, data collection, data analysis, and reporting for projects as assigned by the department.
Ensures the highest quality of service and care for those we serve. Remains committed to satisfying internal and external customers timely and efficiently. Strives to develop and maintain trust and credibility with key stakeholders. Maintains awareness of key quality indicators, process improvement initiatives, and opportunities to improve patient satisfaction. Participates in quality monitoring and reporting as required.
Experience:
Required:
1-3 years Experience
Note: Requires formal working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, project management techniques, as well as quality assurance.
Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree
Licenses And Certification:
Preferred: Project Management Professional
Six Sigma Certification
Credential Note: CAPM preferred
