This senior consulting role focuses on delivering Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) expertise across complex, large-scale IT programs.
The position plays a key role in ensuring system integrity, compliance, and performance throughout the full project lifecycle.
You will engage with program management offices to evaluate processes such as integration, testing, and configuration management.
The role requires strong analytical ability to interpret requirements, assess risks, and validate technical and functional deliverables.
You will contribute to the development of detailed test strategies, documentation, and quality assurance artifacts.
This is a highly collaborative environment involving interaction with technical teams, stakeholders, and client representatives.
The assignment is intended for future projects starting in late 2026 or 2027, on a consulting basis.

• Support independent verification and validation activities across full program lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry standards and government requirements.
• Participate in assessments across PMO functions including communications, configuration, integration, data oversight, cutover, testing, and validation.
• Gather, interpret, and apply industry and government best practices to evaluate operational processes and system compliance.
• Identify, analyze, and document requirements based on client specifications and program needs.
• Develop and execute both manual and automated test procedures, including test plans, scripts, and validation protocols.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation such as test results, defect reports, and execution logs.
• Provide input into planning and scheduling of testing activities and ensure maintenance of all test assets and documentation.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) within federal or state government environments or equivalent complex programs.
• At least 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading complex IT initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of IV&V practices and familiarity with industry frameworks such as IEEE, CMMI, and PMBOK.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies is preferred.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven technical writing capability (writing samples required).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

• Competitive hourly rate: $60–$90/hr (1099 or Corp-to-Corp), based on experience, skills, and contract requirements.
