This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. ServiceNow GRC Business Analyst based in the United States.
This role is a senior-level consulting position focused on leading ServiceNow-driven transformation initiatives across enterprise clients, with a strong emphasis on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex organizational needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions. The position involves leading discovery workshops, defining future-state processes, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and platform capabilities. You will play a central role in shaping solution design, improving operational workflows, and driving successful platform adoption. Working in a highly collaborative consulting environment, you will guide both strategy and execution while ensuring delivery quality and consistency. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly influences enterprise risk and compliance modernization.
Lead the delivery of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on GRC and enterprise platform optimization, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather, analyze, and validate complex business and compliance requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with ServiceNow capabilities.
- Lead solution design efforts across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, SPM, GRC, and App Engine.
- Partner with technical teams to guide configuration, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications.
- Oversee testing activities including UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation of business outcomes.
- Develop process documentation, solution design artifacts, roadmaps, and executive-level presentations.
- Provide subject matter expertise on ServiceNow best practices and recommend continuous improvements and platform enhancements.
- Support change management and training activities to ensure strong user adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to methodology development and practice improvement initiatives.
Candidates should bring strong ServiceNow expertise, consulting experience, and the ability to lead complex business and technical engagements in regulated environments.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 5 years working with ServiceNow or comparable enterprise platforms.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules such as GRC, ITSM, SPM, and App Engine.
- Active or eligible for a U.S. Federal or DoD Secret clearance (required prior to onboarding).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, and translating business needs into technical deliverables.
- Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Proven ability to lead client engagements and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex environments.
- Experience supporting solution design, configuration oversight, and implementation on ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
- ServiceNow CSA certification preferred; additional certifications (CIS, CAD, Agile certifications) are a plus.
- Exposure to low-code/no-code tools or federal financial/risk management domains is an advantage.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $216,000, based on experience, clearance level, and qualifications.
