POSITION SUMMARY

The Recovery Coordinator is responsible for managing client intake by answering and returning phone calls, prescreening potential clients, verifying insurance, and assisting with transportation resources. They collaborate with various program staff to ensure effective client placement, act as an advocate for clients navigating treatment and external resources and maintain accurate records while supporting community engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls
  • Return any missed phone calls to potential clients
  • Prescreens all potential clients and record details of conversation on tracking log
  • Help establish and verify insurance for all clients
  • When appropriate, assists with resources to provide transportation.
  • Works in conjunction with Program staff, Admissions staff, and Detox staff for efficient and effective client placement / scheduling
  • Act as an advocate for clients, helping them navigate treatment programs, insurance, legal concerns, and external resources.
  • Prepare reports for internal use or external entities (e.g., probation officers, insurance companies).
  • Attend all Mandatory Staff meetings and Trainings
  • Work in coordination with the Development team to increase community awareness and engagement of THP services
  • Record Keeping
  • Additional tasks and functions if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Must be able to achieve CPR certification within 3 months of hire
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience required
  • At least one year of experience working in a clinical environment preferred
  • Superior organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, people, and processes
  • Experience working with electronic health records
