Job Description

Talent Acquisition Business Partner

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for U.S.-based business professional positions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and key stakeholders, providing guidance on recruiting best practices, developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies, sourcing and assessing candidates, facilitating interviews, and negotiating employment offers.


Success in this role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service, the ability to develop and present innovative solutions to complex hiring challenges, and a collaborative approach to partnering with stakeholders. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner builds and maintains strong relationships with internal clients, candidates, and external vendors to attract and secure top talent while supporting the firm's strategic hiring objectives.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand organizational structure, workforce needs, position requirements, and hiring priorities. Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies by leveraging data, market intelligence, and industry research to communicate talent trends, assess candidate availability, and recommend alternative approaches to address hiring challenges.
  • Identify and implement effective sourcing strategies based on business needs, budget considerations, and labor market conditions. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues, leverage internal and external talent resources, and conduct independent research to build robust candidate pipelines and attract qualified talent.
  • Deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Screen and assess candidates, provide hiring managers and business leaders with meaningful candidate insights, and facilitate informed selection decisions.
  • Manage recruitment operations, including posting positions, maintaining accurate and timely recruiting records in Workday Recruiting, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with established recruitment processes and documentation requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external recruiting partners, vendors, and talent sources to support current and future hiring needs. Continuously assess partner performance and service quality to ensure alignment with business objectives and talent acquisition goals.
  • Partner with hiring managers, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders throughout the offer process. Obtain required approvals, prepare and extend employment offers, and effectively manage negotiations to secure candidate acceptance while maintaining internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development by staying current on talent acquisition trends, emerging recruiting technologies, sourcing methodologies, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Required:

  • Bachelors degree
  • A minimum of two years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including talent sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing a significant volume of concurrent requisitions and competing priorities while delivering a high-quality recruitment process for candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships with hiring managers and business stakeholders and provide consultative guidance on talent acquisition strategies, market conditions, and recruiting best practices.
  • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS) or human capital management system (HCM), as well as recruiting technologies to manage candidate pipelines, maintain accurate records, and support recruitment operations.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, including talent sourcing and candidate outreach.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring practices.

Preferred:

  • Direct hire recruiting experience within an executive search firm or staffing agency.
  • Technical and/or specialized professional recruiting experience
  • Proficiency with Workday Recruiting
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification

The target salary range for this role is:

$80,000 - $94,000 if located in Illinois, California or Washington, D.C.

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
