Senior Product Manager, Pricing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Pricing based in the United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the core pricing systems that power advanced, data-driven decision-making in a fast-scaling, technology-led insurance environment. In this role, you will define the strategy and roadmap for critical pricing platforms that transform models and data into real-time production decisions. You will work at the center of a highly cross-functional ecosystem, partnering closely with engineering, data science, actuarial, analytics, and legal teams to drive execution. The position combines deep product ownership with systems thinking, enabling you to influence both infrastructure and end-user tooling. You will help accelerate the deployment of pricing models while improving speed, reliability, and usability across pricing workflows. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in complex, regulated environments and enjoys building scalable systems that directly impact business performance.

Accountabilities
  • Own and evolve the pricing product roadmap, defining long-term vision and strategy for scalable pricing infrastructure and decisioning systems.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements definition to delivery and iteration.
  • Write detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) that align business goals, technical architecture, and execution plans.
  • Build, prioritize, and maintain a data-driven product backlog using structured product frameworks and customer or stakeholder insights.
  • Own and enhance internal pricing platforms, including tools that support rating plan configuration and pricing execution workflows.
  • Accelerate the transition from data models and analytical insights into production-ready pricing capabilities.
  • Improve system performance across pricing workflows, including speed, reliability, observability, and usability.
  • Develop self-service tooling to enable experimentation, faster iteration, and streamlined feature deployment.
  • Reduce operational friction by identifying and resolving regulatory, compliance, and workflow bottlenecks in pricing processes.
  • Partner with engineering, actuarial, data science, analytics, legal, and state operations teams to ensure alignment and execution across complex systems.
  • Support geographic and regulatory expansion by adapting pricing capabilities to meet state-specific requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, user feedback, and data-informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, insurtech, SaaS, or other data-intensive and regulated industries.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand complex architectures, workflows, and data-driven decision systems.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts such as APIs, predictive modeling, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience collaborating closely with data science and analytics teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and business concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in agile environments with iterative product development cycles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
  • Strong user-centric mindset with a track record of improving product usability and performance.
  • Highly collaborative approach with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with strategic thinking and execution focus.
  • Adaptable, hands-on approach with a strong ownership mentality and results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for team collaboration and strategic planning sessions.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $125,500 to $156,100, plus eligibility for bonus and equity programs.
  • Opportunity to own and shape core pricing systems within a high-impact, data-driven organization.
  • Flexible “work where it works best” remote-friendly model across the United States.
  • Exposure to advanced machine learning, telematics, and pricing technologies.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional environment working with experts across engineering, data science, and actuarial domains.
  • Strong emphasis on innovation, experimentation, and continuous product improvement.
  • Equity participation and performance-based incentives aligned with company success.
  • Professional growth opportunities in a fast-scaling, technology-driven industry.
  • Regular team collaboration sessions and strategic in-person gatherings.
  • Comprehensive benefits supporting health, wellness, and financial security.
