Position Summary
The Dental Hygienist performs dental hygiene duties to promote quality dental care in a stress-free, safe, and welcoming environment. This role includes scaling, prophylaxis, digital x-rays (DEXIS), documentation, and patient and parent education. The hygienist follows universal precautions and adheres to OSHA and HIPAA requirements to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Additional responsibilities include stocking and maintaining equipment and inventory and supporting overall clinical operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Dental Hygiene LicenseCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationHepatitis vaccination recommendedContinuing education requirements fulfilledFlexible availability, including some evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements
Must be able to withstand extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and sitting. Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and adequate vision are required.
