Position: General Cleaner – Elevator Cleaner | Full-Time
Schedule: 3rd Shift | 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Location: Orange Parking Garage at Disney Springs, Lake Buena Vista, FL
Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, full-time General Cleaner specializing in elevator cleaning to join our 3rd shift team at the Orange Parking Garage at Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, FL. This is a consistent, stable position where you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of elevators and surrounding common areas within a high-traffic facility operated by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect elevator interiors including walls, floors, doors, handrails, button panels, and ceiling surfaces on all garage levels.
- Wipe down elevator door tracks, thresholds, and exterior surfaces to remove dirt, fingerprints, and debris.
- Clean and sanitize surrounding common areas including entryways, lobbies, and stairwells adjacent to elevator banks.
- Clean and sanitize public areas including restrooms, counters, sinks, door handles, and fixtures as assigned.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas of the garage including parking spaces and entryways.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly in designated areas.
- Wipe down surfaces, windows, handrails, extinguishers, and emergency phone boxes to remove dirt and fingerprints.
- Respond promptly to spills and accidents, using appropriate materials and techniques to contain and clean up hazards and report issues to supervisors.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear always required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Dependable, punctual, and detail oriented.
- Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout your shift.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working overnight hours in a large facility environment.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
Working Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors within the Orange Parking Garage facility but may include exposure to outdoor conditions in varying Florida weather. Team members may be exposed to dust, fumes, vehicle exhaust, and cleaning chemicals during their duties. The role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout an overnight shift in a high-traffic, guest-facing environment.

This position is located at the Orange Parking Garage at Disney Springs, operated by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD). All candidates must successfully complete a background check prior to their start date. Details will be provided during the hiring process.
