Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott delivers consistent quality and excellent service to business and leisure travelers. We are seeking a strong, hands-on Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Job Summary
The Front Office Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Front Desk, Guest Services, and Night Audit teams. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, maximizing revenue, and maintaining efficient hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the Front Desk, Bell Staff, and Night Audit teams
Oversee all front office operations including check-in/check-out, guest relations, and service recovery
Ensure brand service standards are consistently met and exceeded
Manage room inventory, rates, and upselling opportunities to drive revenue
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues quickly and professionally
Conduct daily shift briefings and maintain excellent interdepartmental communication
Review and analyze front office reports and performance metrics
Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards and hotel policies
Manage team scheduling, payroll, and labor costs
Participate in leadership meetings and property initiatives
Train team members on the Power of M PMS system and service standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of Front Office supervisory or management experience in a hotel
Strong working knowledge of Power of M PMS system (required)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent required; Hospitality degree preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when needed
