About the Role:

The B Shift Refurbishment Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating operations personnel to enable the daily build plan. Inclusive of meeting production, quality, safety and housekeeping objectives. Oversee and direct the receiving, teardown, assembly, preconditioning, stretch wrap, truck trailer loading/unloading and fork truck personnel.

Responsible for working cross-departmentally to communicate and resolve daily operations issues. Reassign employees as required and give direction when Manager is absent from work area and as required to maintain daily production.

Receiving/Shipping:

Ensure all inbound materials are received access data base; confirm accuracy

Support transfer of components to the floor and storage locations

Identify shortages or surpluses and communicate to Refurbishment Manager and Logistics Coordinator

Monitor flow of inbound and outbound activities

Work with Quality and Logistics to insure daily outbound orders are correct and shipped on time

Coordinate and schedule outbound and inbound material and product shipments to insure on time deliveries.

Coordinate and or drive Company truck if needed to insure on time deliveries

Inventory Control:

Identify component shortages to Inventory Control

Daily review of build plan to ensure availability of all required materials

Monitor job orders and requirements, react to changes as needed

Collect and assess for accuracy all work orders, special instructions, components, and shipping documentation in accordance with Aeroloop build schedule

Communicate any order issues to Manager

Fill out daily reports for inventory consumption. Send consumption reports to finance on a daily basis.

Support all Leads and operators with component requests

Shipping:

Support accuracy to work orders and shipping documentation

Coordinate loading of trucks to ensure efficiency and accuracy

Communicate delays, errors to Manager

Overall:

Support the daily operations of the Refurbishment area inclusive of directing and reassigning operators.

Work with Inventory control to maintain inventory integrity.

Input daily builds onto log sheets and validate material consumption.

Adhere to and support all safety procedures and SOP’s.

This is on a B Shift schedule (3:30pm-12pm).

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Experience in warehouse and production environment

Ability to work as a team member to accomplish daily tasks

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment

Basic knowledge and understanding of the inter-related processes of production, shipping, inventory, and the end-user

Ability to comply with standard processes and procedures

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team and management

Ability to trouble-shoot problems and resolve issues effectively

Knowledge of ISO and Audit protocols

Travel & Availability:

Travel to Corporate offices and customer sites as needed.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, frequently will be required to stand for long periods, use hands/fingers repetitively, handle or feel objects, tools, or; and talk or hear. Good hand-eye coordination.

Will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch and lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include some close vision.
