In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of critical services and architecture decisions while working closely with a collaborative and innovation-driven engineering team. You will have the chance to influence technical strategy, improve system observability, and ensure application reliability across distributed environments. The position combines hands-on development with infrastructure management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement practices. You will also play an important role in mentoring peers, supporting production operations, and driving engineering best practices. Accountabilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve scalable backend services with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Participate in and influence technical and architectural decisions across the platform ecosystem.
  • Build high-quality code with strong automated test coverage and engineering best practices.
  • Develop and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Ensure application monitoring, observability, and operational health through logs, metrics, and alerts.
  • Support incident resolution and troubleshoot production issues to ensure service continuity and stability.
  • Execute deployments through CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to improve code quality and technical standards.
  • Support teammates by removing technical blockers and sharing knowledge across the engineering team.
  • Provide technical support through dedicated customer and operational channels when necessary.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to systems, processes, and architecture decisions.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Go (Golang) and/or Java development.
  • Solid experience working with AWS cloud services and distributed systems environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Knowledge of Git workflows and software versioning best practices.
  • Understanding of software architecture principles such as Clean Architecture and scalable application design.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of database queries, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with messaging and event-driven systems such as Apache Kafka or Amazon SQS.
  • Experience working in agile and collaborative engineering environments.
  • Proactive mindset with adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with observability practices, including logs, monitoring, and alerting, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of high-scale distributed systems and AI-powered development productivity tools is considered an advantage.
