Job Description

The Part-Time Human Resource Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, managing filing and documentation, supporting benefits administration, assisting with ADP-related HR functions, and providing compliance support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. This is a part-time non-exempt role without benefits. Essential Functions

    Maintain and organize employee personnel files, both electronic and paperPerform general HR administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, copying, and document processingAssist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiriesSupport administration of HR processes in ADP, including employee data updates, document management, and report generationEnsure HR records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulationsAssist with compliance support, including tracking required documentation, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining audit-ready recordsPrepare and distribute HR forms, notices, and correspondence as neededRespond to routine employee questions regarding HR procedures and benefitsHandle sensitive communications with professionalism and confidentialityCoordinate with payroll, benefits providers, and internal departments as neededSupport onboarding and offboarding tasks related to documentation and system updatesMaintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information

Education and Experience Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in HR, business administration, or related field preferredStrong organizational and filing skills with high attention to detail
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretionPrior administrative or human resources experience preferredExperience with ADP and Payroll strongly preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage sensitive communications professionallyAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProfessional in appearance, manner and tone.A team player who possesses the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
