Job Description

IT Enterprise Architect

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Enterprise Architect in the United States.

This role is a strategic technical leadership position responsible for defining and guiding the enterprise architecture across a fast-scaling, cloud-first organization. You will shape the foundational systems that power SaaS, AI, and enterprise applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with modern architecture principles. Acting as a key technical authority, you will design integrated ecosystems rather than isolated tools, enabling seamless collaboration across business units. The position requires deep expertise in identity-centric architectures, API-first integration strategies, and modern workplace platforms. You will also influence how emerging technologies, including generative AI, are adopted at scale within the enterprise. This is a highly impactful role where architectural decisions directly shape operational efficiency, security posture, and long-term technical strategy.

Accountabilities:
  • Define, establish, and promote enterprise-wide architectural standards across SaaS, cloud, and enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Architect and govern a modern workplace ecosystem using API-first integration and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM), ensuring seamless interoperability across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian.
  • Lead the design and evolution of identity-centric (“Identity-as-the-Perimeter”) architectures and large-scale iPaaS integrations across global environments.
  • Oversee advanced networking and security architecture design, including firewalls, network segmentation, and monitoring systems.
  • Ensure enterprise systems are securely integrated, enabling controlled access, identity governance, and efficient tool deployment across business units.
  • Provide architectural oversight for emerging technology adoption, including generative AI platforms and enterprise development tools.
  • Mentor engineering teams and contribute to technical decision-making, documentation standards, and long-term infrastructure strategy.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise or infrastructure architecture within high-growth, security-focused technology environments.
  • 8+ years of experience designing identity-centric security models and large-scale integration platforms (iPaaS).
  • Strong background in cloud-native, SaaS-first enterprise architecture and modern corporate systems design.
  • Deep expertise in identity and access management (IAM) frameworks and enterprise security architecture principles.
  • Proficiency in API-first design approaches and experience with enterprise programming or integration frameworks.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation for complex systems and operational procedures.
  • Experience guiding enterprise adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-driven platforms and tools.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills with a focus on aligning technical and business objectives.
  • Ability to prevent technical debt through scalable, interoperable architectural design.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary with performance-based bonus and equity opportunities (total package up to approximately $175K USD).
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Equity participation and long-term incentive opportunities.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility across the United States.
  • Annual performance bonus and career growth opportunities in a high-growth organization.
  • Supportive culture focused on learning, innovation, and professional development.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in cybersecurity, SaaS, and AI-driven enterprise systems.
