Job Summary: The Data Analyst is responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing reports. This role will leverage data analysis techniques and tools, work with large datasets, and transform data into actionable insights.
What does a day in the life of a Data Analyst took like?
- Collect, clean and interpret datasets
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns and correlations
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data for stakeholders
- Maintains data integrity and security
- Create and maintain documentation of data analysis processes and findings
- Assist in developing and optimizing data collection and analysis procedures
- Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve issues
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
- Perform other duties as assigned
What are the required qualifications for a Data Analyst?
- 1-3 years of experience in data processor, data analyst or related role, preferably in a call center environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications
- Proficiency in data processing and analysis tools, such as spreadsheets, SQL, etc.
- Financial Knowledge (Preferred): Basic understanding of banking information, distinguishing international currencies, and handling diverse payment methods (e.g., Wire vs. EFT payments).
