This is a full-time role responsible for ensuring the quality and usability of products across web, mobile, and API platforms. The position requires a mix of exploratory testing, automated test development, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Support teams.
What does a day in the life as a Software QA Tester (Automation Testing) look like?
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and regression suites.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, exploratory, integration, and API testing.
- Track defects through to resolution and contribute to automated testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams during sprint planning and requirement refinement.
- Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
What are the required qualifications for a Software QA Tester (Automation Testing)?
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or engineering.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycles, and modern web/API applications.
- Experience with tools such as GitHub, Jira, SQL, and Postman.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and regression testing.
- Preferred skills include experience with UI testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium), CI/CD pipelines, and payment flow validation.
