Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

The Interiors Operations Senior Manager is responsible for seamless execution of all aspects of the interiors operations business by effectively managing schedules, resources, and communication amongst stakeholders. They provide leadership and oversight to the leaders of key operations functions in office and field, along with direct reports for estimating/design, ensuring that the Arizona Appliance and Home brand is synonymous with exceptional quality and service. The Senior Manager must effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization, from frontline employees, executive leadership, vendors, subcontractors and builders/customers fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.

  • Follows and enables a culture where Arizona Home and Appliance Core Values come to life.
  • Provides autonomous leadership of the Interiors Operations business, proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and solutions while making sound business decisions with minimal oversight.
  • Serves as the primary operational leader for the Interiors division, aligning teams, priorities, and resources to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
  • Creates a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence through coaching, mentorship, and leadership development of supervisors and managers.
  • Presents operational performance, business insights, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and executive-level manner.
  • Leads through influence, developing collaborative relationships across departments to drive organizational success and remove barriers to execution
  • Assists in developing and executing business strategy provided by company leadership.
  • Leads organizational and department change as necessary
  • Works with Operations Director in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes, along with feedback on strategy effectiveness.
  • Ensure job requirements (budget, schedule, productivity goals) are met.
  • Drive safety and quality initiatives, along with all required company training
  • Works with direct reports to drive accountability and assists in corrective action when appropriate
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading leaders, including managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams, with a track record of developing talent, building accountability, and driving organizational performance through effective leadership
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management, construction management or related field, with demonstrated success leading high performance teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Understanding of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
  • Fundamental PC skills, especially knowledgeable in Outlook, Excel, Teams and Word, to support efficient communication, reporting, and executive-level collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, executive communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead autonomous teams, influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, manage organizational change, and drive results through others. Proven ability to communicate complex operational issues clearly and effectively to frontline employees, management, and executive leadership.
Additional Notes

The Senior Manager will have occasional travel requirements to our offices, warehouses and the field and will attend company training and events.
