Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with commercial building systems, including lighting controls, switchgear, and distribution equipment
- Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code
- Perform NEC calculations
- Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types
- Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers
- Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation
- Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates
- Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Maintain basic knowledge of control systems and components
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a commercial service role
- High school diploma or GED
- 4,000+ hours of electrician experience
- Current state Journeyman electrical license
- OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check
Travel:
- This role will travel up to 75% of the time and at times on short notice.
- Travel is generally for 2–3-week sprints outside of the DFW metroplex.
Compensation:
- This role will be between $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.
