This role sits at the core of enterprise integration and digital transformation, focusing on designing and delivering scalable solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will be responsible for building secure, reusable, and high-performance integrations that connect SAP and non-SAP systems across a complex enterprise landscape. Working closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders, you will enable seamless data flow, event-driven communication, and API-led connectivity across platforms. The position plays a critical role in modernizing enterprise architecture and ensuring consistency, reliability, and compliance of integration services. You will contribute to both strategic design decisions and hands-on technical implementation. This is a highly collaborative environment where engineering excellence and innovation directly impact business operations at scale.

Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh.
  • Build and maintain inbound, outbound, and bidirectional interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Develop APIs, middleware components, and event-driven architectures aligned with enterprise integration standards.
  • Perform data transformation and mapping (JSON, XML, IDoc) to support business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, application teams, and business stakeholders to define integration requirements and solution designs.
  • Support enterprise integration patterns such as pub/sub, hub-and-spoke, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Participate in integration testing, deployment, release management, and production support activities.
  • Monitor integration flows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems.
  • Ensure all integration solutions meet security, compliance, and enterprise governance standards.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical estimation.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable integration assets.
  • Support continuous improvement of integration platforms, tools, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in integration engineering, SAP development, or cloud-based integration roles.
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh.
  • Strong experience with APIs, middleware, and data transformation formats such as JSON, XML, and IDoc.
  • Solid understanding of SAP ecosystems (ECC, S/4HANA, PO/PI) and enterprise integration landscapes.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and modern integration patterns, including event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment processes.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across distributed systems.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with SAP Extension Suite, CAP, UI5, Node.js, or Java is a plus.
  • Exposure to Azure integration services or hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
  • SAP BTP or Integration Suite certification is highly desirable.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $135,900 to $195,400, depending on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage starting on day one.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer participation.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and additional wellness-related leave benefits.
  • Strong focus on professional development, certifications, and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise integration and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven engineering culture.
  • Opportunities to work with modern SAP BTP and cloud-native technologies.
