This role sits at the intersection of energy strategy, technical consulting, and financial analysis, supporting clients as they navigate one of the most dynamic transformations in the global power sector. You will contribute to high-impact advisory projects spanning grid modernization, renewable integration, new generation development, and large-scale load growth such as data center energy campuses. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will help translate complex technical and market dynamics into clear, actionable strategies for utilities, developers, investors, and public-sector stakeholders. The environment is highly collaborative and fast-paced, blending deep engineering expertise with rigorous consulting discipline. You will engage directly with senior client stakeholders while working alongside industry-leading technical experts. This is a client-facing role where analytical thinking, communication skills, and ownership of deliverables directly influence strategic energy decisions.

Accountabilities:
  • Support and contribute to energy sector advisory engagements focused on generation development, grid modernization, renewable integration, and emerging load growth.
  • Conduct market, technology, and policy analysis to support strategic planning and project development decisions.
  • Lead or support economic modeling, cost analysis, risk assessments, and evaluation of contracting and commercial structures.
  • Participate in technical due diligence and owner’s engineering reviews for power and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Develop conceptual project and program plans in collaboration with engineering and technical teams.
  • Prepare clear, structured client deliverables including presentations, written reports, and analytical models.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to client executives and project stakeholders.
  • Lead discrete analytical workstreams within larger consulting engagements.
  • Support project management activities, including governance, stakeholder alignment, and process improvements.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior team members while ensuring quality and consistency of outputs.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development and client relationship support.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in the energy or power sector, including at least 3 years in consulting, advisory, or client-facing analytical roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, public policy, or a related discipline.
  • Strong background working with utilities, independent power producers, developers, grid operators, or energy investors.
  • Proven ability to perform quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and large dataset interpretation.
  • Experience producing high-quality consulting deliverables such as Excel models, PowerPoint presentations, and written reports.
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, power systems, or infrastructure development is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical or financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience engaging directly with senior client stakeholders in meetings, workshops, or presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • High level of initiative, ownership, and accountability with the ability to deliver high-quality work independently.
  • Preferred experience in due diligence, owner’s engineering reviews, or energy project contract structures (e.g., PPAs, EPC, O&M agreements).
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package ($118,023 – $180,313 base salary range, plus potential annual discretionary bonus).
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life, accident, and disability insurance.
  • Employee assistance and wellness programs.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan and financial planning support.
  • Paid vacation, holidays, sick time, and parental leave.
  • Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
  • Tuition assistance and professional development programs.
  • Employee referral bonuses and performance-based incentives.
  • Back-up daycare support, commuter benefits, and employee discount programs.
  • Inclusive, award-winning workplace culture recognized for excellence in employee satisfaction.
