  • Synthesize insights from network engagement and external partners, translating them into actionable recommendations for organizational strategy.
  • Manage digital collaboration platforms such as Basecamp and related knowledge hubs to ensure accessibility, organization, and information flow.
  • Maintain and update policy and funding trackers to support organizational planning and decision-making.
  • Engage in state and local policy advocacy efforts as needed, including legislative support and coalition activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with allied organizations, ensuring strong coordination and shared strategic alignment.
  • Partner with communications teams to support external messaging and joint initiatives across the ecosystem.
  • Create resources and materials to support the broader reuse, environmental justice, and policy advocacy community.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading or coordinating complex networks, coalitions, or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of policy processes and prior experience in advocacy or public policy work.
  • Experience in grassroots engagement, community organizing, or environmental justice initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Proven facilitation skills with the ability to manage large, diverse group discussions effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with experience managing digital platforms, systems, and knowledge-sharing tools.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills, both in-person and virtual.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative information, synthesize insights, and translate them into actionable strategy.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and comfort working in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to engage effectively across internal teams and external partners.
  • Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours or travel (up to ~15%) for events, meetings, or engagements.
  • Passion for environmental justice, reuse systems, and mission-driven policy change.
Benefits:

  • 403(b) retirement plan with 5% employer match after one year of employment.
  • Flexible time off policy plus 17 paid holidays annually.
  • Robust parental leave benefits.
  • Technology and co-working space stipend to support remote work.
  • Health stipend and supplemental insurance coverage.
  • Fully remote work arrangement within the United States.
