$20.76 - $31.15 an hour - Full-TIme Days, 40 hours per week
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for Frontier Internal Medicine, where you will serve as a dedicated patient caregiver. Qualifications:
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant program preferred, or
• Colorado LPN license in good standing preferred, or
• Pass a national Medical Assistant Certification exam preferred.
• BLS certification required by the end of conditional period
Responsibilities:
• Takes patient histories, vital signs and thoroughly documents in patient chart.
• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.
• Performs selected nursing and administrative duties.
• Performs venipunctures and fingerstick phlebotomy, throat cultures, urinalysis, EKG’s, and other laboratory procedures as directed
