Job Description
- 1. Full-Lifecycle Project Delivery
Execution & Governance: Own the end-to-end project lifecycle (Initiation through Go-Live) for Saviynt platform implementations using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
Scope & SOW Management: Serve as the gatekeeper for the Statement of Work (SOW). Proactively manage scope creep, construct detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and execute formal change control processes when required.
Milestone Mastery: Define, track, and achieve critical time to value (TTV) project milestones..
- Assist customer success managers (CSM) in managing communication related to the application of various updates, patches, and fixes.
- Assist with the reporting on status of various federal compliance and security initiatives relevant to Saviynt's offerings.
- Report on key operational and financial metrics for the Expert Services team.
- Develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results and drive process improvements within the team.
Security Framework Alignment: Monitor and manage project risks related to federal regulations, ensuring delivery adheres to NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards.
ATO Support: Collaborate with agency stakeholders and technical architects to provide necessary artifacts supporting the client's Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
Risk Mitigation: Maintain a continuous Risk, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) log, proactively identifying blockages unique to federal environments (e.g., procurement delays, background check cycles).
Client Advisory: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for federal C-suite executives, IAM Program Directors, and Contracting Officers (COs/CORs).
Resource Orchestration: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of Saviynt Deployment Engineers, Product Architects, Partner Success Managers, and client-side personnel.
Executive Reporting: Deliver clear, transparent, and scannable status reports, steering committee presentations, and health dashboards tailored for government oversight.
- Educational Requirements
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in a technical or public policy discipline, an MBA, or relevant experience.
Overall Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of dedicated IT Project Management experience.
Federal Domain Expertise: At least 3–5 years of direct experience managing technical delivery within the U.S. Federal Government, Department of Defense (DoD), or Federal System Integrator (FSI) ecosystems.
Cybersecurity Familiarity: Proven experience managing projects within the Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), or Zero Trust domains is highly preferred.
Professional Services Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in professional services, technical consulting, or team leadership within the technology sector, with a significant portion focused on post-sales customer engagements.
Project Delivery Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and delivering complex technical projects within defined timelines and budgets.
Project Management: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP certification is strongly preferred.
Security Clearance: Active Federal Public Trust, Secret, or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to immediately clear a background investigation) is mandatory for this portfolio.
Deep familiarity with federal procurement processes and contract types (Firm-Fixed-Price, T&M).
Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to challenge the status quo politely and manage conflicting stakeholder priorities.
Proficiency with project management tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, SmartSheet).
