CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT WFD PATHWAY - LANIER NH

  • POSITION SUMMARY

    • The CNA assists in the delivery of direct resident care under the supervision of a nurse and receives written and/or verbal assignments and directions.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • To remain eligible for automatic acceptance into the EAH LPN Program, participants must earn a “C” or higher in each prerequisite course
      • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
      • Achieve a minimum TEAS score of 65% by communicated deadline
      • Must work minimum of 24 hours per week at EAMC Lanier Nursing Home for EAH to cover the cost of the six prerequisite courses required for admission to the on-site Practical Nursing (PN) program

    • Minimum Experience
      • N/A

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • Nursing Assistant Certification
      • BLS within 90 days of DOH/transfer

    • Preferred Education
      • N/A

    • Preferred Experience
      • One-year or more nursing home experience.

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • N/A

    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
