Team Leader – Inkster, MI

The overall purpose of the Team Leader for the wastewater operations is to monitor and maintain all operational aspects of the wastewater treatment facility.

Job Duties:

• Operate wastewater treatment equipment and ensure all phases of the recycling process are being performed efficiently and effectively
• Assist with directing plant operators during the assigned shift
• Assist management with tasks and special projects
• Maintain daily and weekly records as required
• Inspect all wastewater treatment equipment, tanks, pumps, etc.
• Drive and maintain housekeeping duties
• Follow and drive safety policies and practices
• Perform other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of wastewater treatment experience a plus
• 3+ years of leadership experience a plus
• Carry/lift over 50 pounds
• Standing for long periods of time
• Operating heavy machinery
