The Role
We're looking for a Welder to join our weld shop and help build the quality products our customers depend on. This is a hands-on, active role with daily job rotation so you're always building new skills — not stuck doing the same thing every day. You'll work alongside a team that holds itself to a high standard and supports each other in hitting it.
What You'll Do
- Perform MIG and Gmaw-P welding with daily job rotation across the weld shop
- Set up welding machines and follow Welding Procedure Specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to meet precise welding requirements
- MIG weld steel and aluminum components to specification
- Clamp, tack-weld, grind, and fit component parts for welding
- Sustain 6-S standards in your work area and perform routine machine maintenance
- Flag problems early and participate in continuous improvement activities (Team Meetings, 5 Whys, Kaizen, PDCA)
What We're Looking For
- Prior MIG welding experience preferred — motivated entry-level candidates will be considered
- Able to read basic blueprints and/or technical drawings
- Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) a plus
- Detail-oriented — you take pride in clean, precise work
- A team player with reliable attendance and a willingness to learn
- High school diploma or GED preferred
