Business Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst based in United States.

This role supports defense logistics and systems operations by ensuring that critical documentation, analysis, and reporting materials are accurate, well-structured, and aligned with operational requirements. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of technical and functional documentation that supports large-scale government programs.
The position plays a key role in translating complex system and business information into clear, usable deliverables for stakeholders and end users.
You will work closely with technical teams to prepare manuals, reports, and system documentation that support lifecycle management processes.
The environment is structured and compliance-driven, requiring attention to detail and adherence to federal documentation standards.
This role also involves supporting financial and administrative tasks that contribute to program efficiency and reporting accuracy.
It is a remote position that combines analytical work, documentation expertise, and cross-functional coordination in a mission-critical setting.

Accountabilities:
  • Collect, organize, and prepare information for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and technical reports supporting defense logistics operations.
  • Edit and maintain functional descriptions, system specifications, operational procedures, and other technical documentation for accuracy and clarity.
  • Support financial and administrative tasks related to program operations and documentation workflows.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation libraries, ensuring all materials are current, organized, and accessible.
  • Assist in preparing systems, programming, and operational documentation under general supervision.
  • Coordinate specialized documentation services and support stakeholder requests as needed.
  • Translate complex technical and business system information into clear, structured deliverables for varied audiences.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a business analyst, technical documentation, or similar analytical role supporting structured operational environments.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) lifecycle management processes and frameworks such as DoD 5000.1, 5000.2, and related guidance.
  • Strong ability to assemble technical documentation and perform detailed analysis of business and system functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Must possess or be eligible for IT-III Non-Sensitive security clearance (Tier 1).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple documentation tasks simultaneously.
