Dynamics 365 CE Field Service Consultant/Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dynamics 365 CE Field Service Consultant/Architect based in Switzerland.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of advanced Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions that power complex, real-world service operations. You will act as both a solution architect and functional consultant, shaping end-to-end implementations that improve scheduling, dispatching, asset management, and connected field service capabilities. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will translate operational needs into scalable, high-performing solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic architecture with hands-on consulting in enterprise environments. You will play a key role in ensuring solution quality, performance, and alignment with industry best practices across the full project lifecycle.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design of Dynamics 365 Field Service implementations, covering work orders, scheduling, resource management, inventory, assets, and IoT-enabled scenarios.
  • Translate business requirements into robust functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and operational workflows.
  • Design scalable architectures leveraging Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and Azure services, including integration patterns, data models, and system blueprints.
  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and process analysis activities to gather requirements and define solution approaches.
  • Configure and optimize Field Service modules, including booking rules, SLAs, entitlements, incident types, and service workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership across development and integration efforts, including APIs, Power Automate, Logic Apps, plugins, and custom extensions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define scope, manage risks, ensure delivery quality, and support deployment and hypercare phases.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) or CRM solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Field Service configuration, architecture, and extensibility.
  • Deep understanding of field service operations, including dispatching, scheduling, service agreements, inventory, and connected/IoT scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Azure Functions.
  • Ability to produce architectural documentation, system designs, and solution artifacts such as diagrams and use cases.
  • Experience leading client workshops and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with integrations involving ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-240, PL-600, AZ-204/AZ-900) are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Benefits:

  • Opportunity to lead end-to-end enterprise Dynamics 365 Field Service implementations.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform and Azure cloud services.
  • High-impact role working directly with business and technical leadership teams.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, certifications, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborative and consultant-driven environment with strong technical ownership.
  • Flexible and dynamic work culture focused on innovation and delivery excellence.
