We're currently looking for an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our team. If you're dependable, safety-minded, and enjoy staying active in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a Material Handler, you'll play a critical role in keeping production moving by safely transporting materials throughout our facility. This position includes both indoor and outdoor work, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
  • Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Work closely with Production, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to support production schedules.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records.

Forklift certification is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time hourly position in a manufacturing environment. The role requires operating forklifts throughout the facility and outdoors, standing and walking for extended periods, and working around machinery, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. The team member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling objects that are 50 pounds. The team member may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  2. Valid forklift operator certification.
  3. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to forklift operation.
  4. Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models.
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be able to pass E-Verify.
