EventWorks is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant or AP/AR Specialist to report, reconcile and provide overall support for the Finance/Accounting operations for a fast growing and dynamic organization. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing Daily Closings
• Financial Reporting
• Financial Expense Analysis
• Tracking benchmarks measuring company’s financial performance
• Bank Reconciliation
• Sales Tax Management
• Accounts Payables/Receivables Support

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience Accounting (A/R and A/P) Experience
• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet
• Intacct experience is a plus
• Must be very responsible, detail oriented and prioritize time sensitive responsibilities in order to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Must have strong problem solving, analysis, good judgement and decision-making skills
• Advanced financial modeling skills primarily Excel; Proficient in PowerPoint
• Must be willing to report to the Nashville office in-person, Monday through Friday
