INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC in Hardinsburg, Kentucky at Atlas Machine And Supply

Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc., is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our growing team at our Hardinsburg, Ky. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with the repair, disassembly, and assembly of customer equipment and machinery in the designated area, as directed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Disassembles, reassembles, marks, photographs, and scans customer equipment and parts for further servicingProvides key data and information through the use of documented reporting system for Engineering and additional departmentsFollows all OSHA and Company Safety Procedures when affecting repairs and/or maintenance procedures.Actively participates in the Quality Program by ensuring quality and meeting standard expectations on all work completedConsults with the Supervisor as necessary to ensure a coordinated repair processCoordinates and performs press work in portable, horizontal and vertical conditionsMaintains a clean work environment by keeping all tools and parts organized as the job proceeds through the shopPerforms other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) High School isrequiredOne to three years maintenance experiencerequired,or combination of experience and education may be consideredExperience in blueprint and sketch preparationRequires ability to read and comprehend blueprints, sketches and directionsMust possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsMust have ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in units of measureMust be proficient in prioritization and maintaining paperwork and filesStrong analytical skills are necessary including problem solvingMustbe able to lift 50 lbs.Position requires standing, sitting, squatting, twisting or stooping for long periods
