Pulmonary Technologist, Days in Louisville, Kentucky at Norton Healthcare

Report to work on time and ready to work in a quiet professional manner, following hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Provide quality care as ordered by the patients physician(s). Provide patient and family education related to medications, therapy and diagnostic modalities provided. Ensures accurate patient documentation and monitoring. orders supplies and medications. Assist in other duties as assigned. Maintains current knowledge via hospital and department communication tools. Identifies problems and recommends ideas and solutions.

Required:

• One year in respiratory care
• Diploma
• One of: CRT or RRT, RRT must be obtained within 6 months of hire. AND Respiratory Therapist (KY)

Desired:

• Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist OR Advanced Pulmonary Function Technologist
