This is a high-impact opportunity to build technology that helps customers monitor and understand changing conditions around the world.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend features and applications using React and TypeScript, with a strong focus on usability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Lead frontend feature development from discovery through deployment, translating product and user needs into reliable technical solutions.
  • Drive architectural decisions across the frontend, including component design, state management, data fetching, and broader application patterns.
  • Mentor engineers through thoughtful code reviews, technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and guidance on frontend engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to define and deliver effective solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Contribute to backend systems and APIs when required, while maintaining primary ownership of frontend development.
  • Help strengthen engineering practices through modern testing, CI/CD, development tooling, and continuous improvements to application quality and team capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Bring 10+ years of relevant professional experience developing web applications, with a strong track record of delivering production software.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in React and component-based frontend architecture, along with professional experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Have experience with frontend state management, data fetching, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
  • Be able to independently lead feature implementation across the full development lifecycle, from discovery and technical planning through deployment.
  • Demonstrate experience mentoring engineers and improving team capabilities through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate effectively in professional English and collaborate confidently across technical and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with monorepo tooling, large-scale frontend architectures, mapping libraries, data visualization, modern testing frameworks, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development is a plus.
  • Background in geospatial technologies, remote sensing, or Defense & Intelligence environments is considered an additional advantage.
  • Be able to meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements for access to restricted technical information.
Benefits:
  • U.S. base salary ranging from $160,600–$200,800 USD nationally, $172,200–$215,200 USD in New York City and California, or $182,900–$228,600 USD in San Francisco, depending on location, experience, and skills.
  • Potential eligibility for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives, including bonus and equity.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with a company contribution.
  • Generous paid time off, in addition to holidays and company-wide days off.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Wellness program and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Home office reimbursement plus monthly phone and internet reimbursement.
  • Tuition reimbursement and access to LinkedIn Learning.
  • Equity opportunities.
  • Commuter benefits for employees located near an office.
  • Paid time off for volunteering.
  • Fully remote work within the United States, with employees located near an office expected to work from that office three days per week.
  • Opportunity to work on advanced satellite-data applications, large-scale frontend systems, geospatial technology, and solutions supporting Defense & Intelligence customers.
  • A collaborative environment focused on technical growth, mentorship, belonging, and meaningful global impact.
